The Public Sector Financial Management Committee (PSFMC) of CAPA is focused on the development of high quality financial management in the public sector by identifying, developing and sharing relevant knowledge and guidance materials. Importantly, this includes the promotion of high quality financial and performance management reporting and assurance involving relevant international standards on accounting and auditing. This publication has been prepared by the PSFMC to further these objectives.

The Improving Financial Management in the Public Sector – the Eight Key Elements of PFM Success™ publication aims to assist professional accountancy organisations to hold substantive dialogues with governments to consider the state of public financial management (PFM) and identify opportunities for on-going development and improvement.
