Following CAPA’s earlier work, this document provides further information to all PAOs to understand the Accounting Technician (AT) sector. It identifies the significant opportunities to the profession, employers, individuals and wider society and economies.

It expresses a ‘Call to Action’ for the accountancy profession – globally, regionally and nationally – to collaborate towards the achievement of AT recognition, and relevant bodies have already responded positively.
