Global Dialogue at ICAI WOFA 2.0 and ICMAI Sustainability Summit

The Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants (CAPA) was honored to participate in a series of high-profile engagements in Greater Noida, India, from 30 January to 1 February 2026.
These landmark events, the World Forum of Accountants 2.0 (WOFA 2.0) and the ICMAI Sustainability Summit, were proudly hosted by our members, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI).
World Forum of Accountants 2.0 (WOFA 2.0)
As a primary supporting partner of WOFA 2.0, CAPA was grateful and proud to support the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) for one of the largest gatherings of finance professionals in history. We extend our warmest congratulations to ICAI on the spectacular success of WOFA 2.0 and the sheer scale of the event have set a new benchmark for the global accounting community – attracting over 10,000 delegates from more than 40 countries.

fer Lopez represented CAPA at the Inaugural Ceremony among a distinguished panel of global visionaries, including India’s Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal; renowned industrialist Kumar Mangalam Birla; ICAI President Charanjot Singh Nanda; and IFAC President Jean Bouquot.
In an inspiring plenary keynote, Jennifer shared on future of the profession, focused on Transformation, Technology, and Trust. We are incredibly grateful for the impactful engagement. Her address challenged the global community to embrace digital evolution while maintaining the ethical bedrock of the profession.

Advancing the Green Agenda: ICMAI Sustainability Summit
Our engagement continued with the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) at their landmark Sustainability Summit 2.0. It was a privilege for Chief Executive Jennifer Lopez to participate in this forward-looking event, where she had the honour to:
- Present the prestigious Green Awards, recognising outstanding excellence and dedication to environmental stewardship within the profession.
- Commend ICMAI’s pioneering leadership in successfully integrating sustainability into the core of cost and management accounting.
