Call for Expression of Interest – Joint CAPA-ADB Project

Published date: January 26, 2015

CAPA is pleased to announce that the Asian Development Bank (ADB), working in conjunction with CAPA, has agreed to provide Technical Assistance (TA) to five countries in the Asia-Pacific region. This TA will support the capacity development of the professional accountancy organisation (PAO) and its members through the improvement of its Audit Quality Assurance (QA) systems, leading to enhanced professional discipline, technical skills, reviews and the application of professional standards. A ‘better practice’ guide will also be prepared and made available to other PAOs.

The ADB has just advertised for consultants to undertake the work – one ‘international consultant’ to direct and oversee the whole project, and one ‘national consultant’ in each of the countries concerned – Bangladesh, Cambodia, Myanmar, Nepal and Samoa.

Below is the table of links (one for each country and one for the International role) and from the link, you may:

  • click on the ‘Terms of Reference’ tab to get an overview of the project; or
  • click on ‘Express Interest’ button to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI)

The deadline for submitting an EOI is extended to two weeks to 28 February 2015. Please read the ‘Terms of Reference’ carefully in each of the links. For further information, please follow the provided link to contact the ADB project officer.
